Be Still.

“Be still and know that I am God.” Ps. 46:10a

Be Still

I am God in the good times.

I am God in the bad times.

I am God when you feel sick.

I am God when you are well.

I am God inside and outside.

I am God when you sit and when you stand,

and even when you run.

I am God when you weep.

I am God when you laugh.

I am God in the slow times and the busy times.

I am God when you pray.

I am God when you praise.

I am God when you do neither.

And when you don’t feel like it can be so, I am still God.

I am God when you feel enlightened.

I am God when you are confused.

I am God in the past.

I am God in the present.

I am God in the future.

I am God.

Be still. Be still.

When you weep, be still and my arms will hold you.

When you laugh, be still for a moment and your joy will increase.

When you remember, be still and I will reveal my goodness.

When you are confused, be still and I will give you peace.

When you are frightened, be still and take courage.

When you are overwhelmed, be still and I will fill you.
