Elise was asked to be a flower girl (her second time). She was quite excited! She got to pick out her own dress, although after she picked it out we realized she thought she was picking out the bride’s dress, which explains why it looks a little like a wedding dress, train and all. She did a very good job, almost forgetting to throw the flowers until the very end when I whispered to her as she passed, so then all the petals ended up at the end of the aisle. She was still emptying her basket as she stood at the front steps, but nobody minded. At the reception she danced and danced, entertaining anyone who cared to watch.
